Microsoft Copilot training for non-technical teams
Confidently using the AI you already own.
Most organisations already pay for Microsoft Copilot. Few people have been shown how to use it on their daily tasks, and few have someone to ask when they need help. I run hands-on, in-person training that fixes that.
Why it matters.
35%
of UK businesses with 10 or more employees now use AI.
11%
of those businesses said more than half their workforce had received AI training.
26 min
a day saved on average, reported by users in the UK government’s 2024 Copilot trial.
Sources: Office for National Statistics, Business Insights and Conditions Survey, wave 159, published 20 July 2026 (first two figures). Government Digital Service, M365 Copilot Experiment Findings Report, June 2025 (time savings self-reported).

What could 20 minutes a day be worth?
I believe around 20 minutes a day, or 90 minutes a week, is a realistic saving once people have been shown how to use Copilot on their own tasks. The UK government’s 2024 trial reported 26 minutes a day, self-reported. Here is what 90 minutes a week could return.
Step 1. Foundation: one person, one year
£325

67.5 hours
back per person over a year (90 minutes a week, 45 working weeks)

£4.32
of time back for every £1 of training in the first year
Time valued at UK median gross hourly pay, £20.81 (ONS, 2026, provisional).
Step 2. Champions help the savings land and multiply

Champions speed up your payback
Champions accelerate adoption and speed up payback. By helping colleagues find an additional 10 to 15 minutes of efficiency a week, Foundation payback comes into around 9 weeks, and the champions’ own costs are recovered in under a year. They are also on hand to answer questions, and becoming the go-to person for AI can help a champion’s career.
For context, Copilot licences for 20 people cost about £3,864 a year (£16.10 per user per month, billed annually, excl. VAT) whether or not anyone uses them. Training is paid once.

Notes and assumptions
Illustrative only. This is not a forecast, a quote or a guarantee. Savings depend on people’s roles, tasks and how often they use the tools, and they usually take a few weeks to build, so real payback may be later than shown. Time is valued at the UK median gross hourly pay for full-time employees, £20.81 (Office for National Statistics, Annual Survey of Hours and Earnings, April 2026, provisional, published 22 October 2026). That excludes employer costs, so your own cost of an hour is likely higher. The champions figures assume colleagues find an extra 10 to 15 minutes a week, so 100 to 105 minutes instead of 90. The champions’ own £4,200 (£3,000 plus the £1,200 clinic) is recovered within a year at about 14 extra minutes a week or more. At 10 extra minutes it takes about 16 months, and at 15 about 11 months, counting 45 working weeks a year. The 26 minutes a day figure is from the Government Digital Service Microsoft 365 Copilot trial (June 2025) and was self-reported. The licence cost uses Microsoft’s standard UK annual price for Copilot Business, £16.10 per user per month, excl. VAT. Microsoft has offered a lower introductory price until 31 December 2026, so check the current price. Training fees exclude VAT. Your own fees depend on your team and what you need.

Measured, so you can see what changed.
Discovery baselines two things: how confident people feel, and the quality of what they produce. We measure both again after the workshop.
Independent.
No licence resale and no commission.
Independent practice. Not affiliated with or endorsed by Microsoft.
Good to know.
Do we need Copilot already?
Most programmes are built around the Microsoft 365 licences you hold. Discovery confirms what is enabled.
What about our data and security rules?
They are agreed at the start and built into the day. We work within your policies, using agreed, non-sensitive material.
In person or online?
In person is the default. Online delivery is available on request and priced separately.
What if it does not land?
The 30-day clinic is there to fix what did not work, and the baseline from discovery shows what changed.
